Peach Tree

Regrowing peach trees from pits can take a bit of practice. Of ours only 1 of the 4 has successful turned into a tree.

First remove the pit from the fruit and soak it in water for a few minutes. If the pit sinks to the bottom the pit has a seed and is usable. If it floats there is no seed. If there is a seed place the pit between a towel and using vice grips squeeze on the sides, will crack and the seed will appear inside.

Carefully remove the skin from the seed, so that you do not damage the tap root. This is where most will go wrong.

Plant the seed into the soil, and keep it watered and covered for a few days to weeks till it starts to sprout.
